Placerville, CA – September 19, 2018…Fresh off a career best run at the Placerville Speedway last weekend Tracy’s Kyle Offill will make a return visit to the red clay for this Friday and Saturday’s second annual “Nor-Cal Posse Shootout.”

Offill and Team KO Racing competed this past Saturday at the final Red Hawk Casino point race of the season and began the evening by qualifying eighth quick, before winning the night’s fourth heat race. The 18-year-old then battled up front all race long with several of the top Placerville Speedway regulars and eventually brought home a third-place finish, his first career Sprint Car podium at the track.

After the strong run Offill now sets his sights on this weekend’s much anticipated two-night Nor-Cal Posse Shootout, which is sanctioned by the Sprint Car Challenge Tour presented by Elk Grove Ford and Abreu Vineyards. Opening night pays a solid $4,000-to-win, while Saturday’s finale will hand out a stout $7,000 to the winner.

“We are certainly excited to head back up the hill to Placerville Speedway for the Nor-Cal Posse Shootout this weekend,” commented Offill. “Last Saturday was a great run for this entire team and I was definitely happy to get my first Sprint Car podium at the track. I have felt very comfortable since Jonathan Allard has come on board as crew chief for us. I am grateful for the knowledge and confidence that he brings to the table. Hopefully we can show the same kind of speed this Friday and Saturday.”

Online tickets for this weekend’s Nor-Cal Posse Shootout at the Placerville Speedway are available at – Plenty of camping will be available on the fairgrounds and a post-race party will be held after Friday’s action, featuring live music and tacos/drinks for sale.

Following the shootout, the Country Builders Construction No. 2K team will then prepare for the annual Fall Nationals at Chico’s Silver Dollar Speedway on September 28 and 29. Recently acquired crew chief Jonathan Allard captured the event in 2008 and will bring in plenty of track expertise for the weekend.

Kyle Offill Racing would like to thank Country Builders Construction, Ochoco West, Boise Cascade, Reliable Lumber, Maas Brothers Powder Coating, B&S Hacienda Auto Body, Brown & Miller Racing Solutions, Bacchetti Hay Service, Offill Family Farms, Octane Ink, HRP and T-Mac Motorsports for their support this season.
