Surprise Show for Stoll__ Caden Stoll set to rise to the big stage occasion at MHM

caden stoll in car pictureSprint Car Insider – Driver Exclusive. FRESNO, Calif. (September 20, 2018) ->Caden Stoll did not initially intend on competing for this weekend’s 2nd Annual Mark Hagopian Memorial but that all changed thanks to a sponsor coming on board for the weekend.

In light of his recent successes up at Delta Speedway, the Pahule family approached the 2c team and offered to sponsor Stoll to give the field a run for their money. In his short time behind the wheel, Stoll has continued to impress those close to the industry. It’s apparent he is a racer, racer, but the steering wheel continues proving how different it is to handlebars.

Car racing takes a lot more patience and relying on factors outside of your own control as a driver. The young driver is figuring that out and coming into his own.

“It’s just different than motocross,” said Stoll. “On the bike I know I have the skill the make up the gap. If someone is ahead of me I can just charge and catch him. You really can’t do that in a car, you’ll either end up going slower or in the wall.”

With three career wins to date, all have come at King of California events. This is an indication that Stolly prefers the hyped up atmosphere and the pressure of having to rise to the occasion.

Now that is nothing new for the driver of the 2c there. While most 8-year olds were enjoying summer break before 3rd grade, Stoll was in the heat of Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, grinding away at the most pressure-packed amateur motocross race in the world, the Loretta Lynns Amateur Motocross Nationals. Dealing with The pressure of that event at such a young age could explain why Stoll performs better on the big stage.

According to his father, Josh, he has just always been that way. When the pressure was on and other kids were getting nervous, Caden seemed to show more enjoyment and had fun being in the high-pressure situations.

Upon merely finding out he was going to race the excitement from Stoll was evident in his voice and the look on his face. He is ready to go have some fun. One thing common among racers of any discipline is that when they are enjoying themselves, the best results typically tend to come. Caden is sincerely looking forward to having the opportunity to contest for the Mark Hagopian Memorial.

“That race is so much fun,” said Stoll. “Man we never get to race Plaza, I’m stoked. I want to get out on the track already.”

Well, here we are once again. The big stage is set up. The red carpet is rolled out. Can Stolly rise to the occasion and pull into victory lane for the 4th time while taking home the glory that is the Mark Hagopian Memorial?

Find out as he drops the hammer on the big show this Friday and Saturday. All Stolly wants to do is race. Perhaps another big-time showing, at a big-time event, could land the support he needs to keep the wheels on the track and the driver at the show. His confidence is high, and the ability is ever apparent, with more opportunities presented similar to that given this weekend; the possibilities are endless.

One thing is for certain: when the lights come on and the pressure sets in, no one is more comfortable in the scenario than Caden Stoll.
