Sprint Car Insider – Driver Exclusive. FRESNO, Ca (October 1, 2018) – Mitchel Moles continued to show impressive speed inside of his all-new TEN-J Chassis at Lemoore Raceway last weekend at the Budweiser Grand Prix.

Week number two aboard the TEN-J didn’t end as well as week one but Moles continued to show the performance level is there. Moles nearly captured Super 600 quick time and turned the fastest lap of the main event by over two-tenths of second on the field.

In the early part of the evening Moles elected to focus on Super 600 events And wait until later in the evening to go out in non-wing. He qualified second by just one-hundredth of a second to quick time. He then went out and dominated his heat race by winning over 1.7 seconds over the runner-up, and consistently turned lap time over a tenth faster than the field.

The order of events was flipped last weekend so before he could go for the super 600 win he would join the field in non-wing. After rolling to the stripe at the tail end of the entire field, Moles drove his way into the top 10 with 8th.

Onto the Super 600 main event which Moles would roll off from 5th. Moles quickly got the front of the field and began to set sail. He was consistently turning laps faster than the field once again. After leading most of the way a challenger emerged and the two wound up getting together. At that point Moles rolled the TEN-J in to assure it stay in superb condition heading into the biggest races of the year.

Moles will be in action this weekend at the King of California finale Friday at Dixon and Saturday at Delta Speedway. With 5 wins on the season Moles is in search of his first victory aboard his all-new TEN-J chassis.

“It’s more about winning for the guys in the shop,” said Moles. “They put in a ton of work and I’m confident that I’m driving the best piece they can put underneath me. I want to win for them.”
