King of California Comes to a Conclusion___ Standings, Stats, and Totals
Sprint Car Insider – King of California Micro Sprint Series. VISALIA, Ca, (October 3, 2018) – The King of California series is set to come to a conclusion this weekend following the final rounds at Dixon and Delta Speedway Friday and Saturday night.
After 7 months, and 14 rounds of racing, the King of California series is primed to crown its first four champions to cover the feat on all four tracks. However, after a superior showing of dominance one title has already been decided and another could be wrapped up following the penultimate round at Dixon.

With 8 wins, and 129 points over 2nd after throwaways, Tyler Tj Smith is your Joe W. Lewis Snap-On Non-Wing King of California. Ben Worth can wrap up second upon showing at Rd 15 as he sits 89 points ahead of 3rd, Jimmy Leal. From there it’s still a race between Leal, (378), Robfogel (353), Ringo (340), and Adam Kaeding (323), for third in points. Seven different drivers visited victory lane in non-wing during the season including Adam Kaeding, Tristan Guardino, Ben Worth, James Ringo, Mitchel Moles, and Tucker Worth.
In the Racepunk Restricted class, reigning Tulsa Shootout Restricted champion, Corey Day holds a 51-point advantage over Caeden Steele. Under the right circumstances, Day could be crowned champion after Friday night. Behind Day and Steele Dylan Bloomfield occupies 3rd with 467 points, just 6 over fourth place Devon Courtnier (461). Ashlynn Rodriguez rounds out the top 5 in points over Katey Syra and Brian Gilbert who sit just one point away from each other. Eight different drivers have busted victory lane so far in the Racepunk Restricted class including Corey Day (4), Dylan Bloomfield (3), Caden Stoll (2), as well as Steele, Syra, Garcia, Thornhill, and Courtneir with 1 each.

As for your Joe W Lewis Snap-On Super 600 class, Joey the rocket Ancona currently sits 48 points ahead of Raio Salmon including throwaways. Ben Worth sets in third followed by Jake Andreotti and Cody Christensen. Although the race for points is coming down to the top three, the Super 609 class boasts the most parity with 9 different winners gracing victory lane. Michale Faccinto visited Victory Lane 4 times, Ancona twice, Worth twice, as well as Colton Hardy, Paul Javaux, Jake Andreotti, Dillon Horsley, and Raio Salmon who earned a single victory each.

The final class actually coming down to the wire is the Elk Grove Ford Jr Sprint class. After throwaways, Dalton Parreira maintains a slim 22 point advantage over Austin Wood, who has been very strong as of late. The race to finish inside of the top five has come down to Jett Barnes third (535), Caleb Debem fourth (422), and Colton Key (392). The Elk Grove Ford Jr Sprint class has been dominated at the top seeing only 4 different drivers pick up victories. Dalton Parriera graced victory lane 7 different times with Austin Wood taking the glory on 5 different occasions. As for the other two rounds, Jett Barnes and Caleb Debem were both able to snag a win, both at Delta Speedway.

As we head into the final two rounds, Round 15, Friday Night, at Dixon Speedway and Round 16, Saturday Night at Delta Speedway the stage is set for the crowning of our champions. The 16-round series was an aggressive schedule, to see who could come away as the “true” King of California over the four different tracks.
