Garcia Tuned up to Tame Plaza

Sprint Car Insider- Driver Exclusive: LEMOORE, Ca. (November 15, 2018) – Gauge Garcia roars into Keller Auto Raceway at Plaza Park this weekend with redemption on his mind.

The last time the Legacy Specialties, Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino #21 was on the track at Plaza Park he nearly picked the Mark Hagopian Memorial Title. He and Corey Day put on the battle of the century. They put professional caliber slide jobs on each other corner after corner and brought the crowd to its feet. The only problem for Gauge was, – he came out on the loosing end of the deal.

There is one final opportunity in 2018 to grab a Micro Sprint win Inside the Golden State. This is it. Between now and the 34th Annual Tulsa Shootout, these are the last laps to be run in competition. That means many things for these drivers. One, you want to go out with confidence, two, you want to make a statement. The opportunity to do both presents itself this weekend.

After coming up just short after leading the majority of the Mark Hagopian Memorial Gauge Garcia looks to close out Turkey Night at Plaza on both Friday and Saturday. Garcia already has wins to his credit this year at Plaza, including a King of California show. What’s more, is Garcia attributes the jump he’s made as a contender anywhere he goes, to learning how to run the top at Plaza.

According to Garcia once he figured that out everything came from there. Now that he is confident and comfortable running the line he has a lot more fun at Plaza. Well it’s the final chance to add to the win total in 2018, and it all wraps up at Keller Auto Raceway Friday and Saturday night. Catch Gauge Garcia in action as he attempts to put his Legacy Specialties/Tachi Palace #21 Pace Chassis in victory lane twice more.
