Sprint Car Insider Track Exclusive- LEMOORE, Ca. (December 16, 2018) — T-Zone Promotions is proud announce that Lemoore Raceway will open the gates for its 69th year of operation beginning March 16, 2019.
Again, the nation’s fastest Micro Sprint drivers will have the opportunity to contest in a 13-race points championship, on one of the most historic tracks in the nation.
In celebration of the rich history of racing in Lemoore, new for 2019, the season kicks off with the Second Annual Jet Bowl Classic on Friday April 5 and Saturday April 6th, 2019.
Right out of the gate Lemoore Raceway hosts one of its premier events. The all-new Jet Bowl Classic is a tribute to the past and a celebration of the future. Current drivers and fans pay homage to the hero’s of yesterday while the heralded Lemoore Raceway Hall of Fame inducts a new class while showing their appreciation for the future of the sport.
The Jet Bowl Classic is certainly unique to Lemoore Raceway and now serves as the curtain raiser in 2019.
All four classes return to take their shot at history. A new Jr. Sprint, Restricted, Non-Wing, and Super 600 Micro Sprint Champion will emerge victorious after the grueling, 13-race, seven- month, campaign comes to a close.
However, 2019 also welcomes the return of the Super Stock 600 class. In association with Keller Auto Raceway at Plaza Park, Lemoore Raceway is set play host to the Super Stock 600 series as part of an unprecedented collaboration between two of the nations most recognizable Micro Sprint facilities.
Drivers and teams have the opportunity to come shake down in March with Playday at Lemoore scheduled for Saturday the 16th. Once the dust settles on the World of Outlaws California swing, and every driver has an opportunity to go watch some Alumni in action, the work begins on their own season at The Second Annual Jet Bowl Classic.
April is a busy month as the ball gets rolling on the series. The drivers and teams visit the facility once more for Round 3 on April 27 before we transition into the always impactful month of May.
The Month of May around Lemoore is a big one each and every year. This year will not be any different. Round 4 see’s the green flag on May 11 as part of another points bout. Following round 4, one of Lemoore finest new tradition makes its way around once again: The Tachi Palace Nationals. Memorial Day Weekend 2019 will again host the Tachi Palace Nationals. Dubbed as the race that may have saved Lemoore Raceway there’s little question the Palace Nationals have become the most prominent race since the move to the new facility. May 24, and 25, drivers will be going wheel to wheel to see who can add their names to the prestigious and lucrative, Palace Nationals chapters of History.
The month of June looks to be a relaxing one. Well, unless we have rain that is. June 7, and June 8, are penciled in and slated to be rain dates. Other than that, it’s Points Race 7, on June 1st. That’ll cross the halfway mark for drivers and teams as the next time they hit the track it’s for SPEEDWEEK.
The 5th Annual Hoosier Tires CALIFORNIA SPEEDWEEK comes to a triumphant conclusion at Lemoore Raceway once again on June 29. Every year Lemoore has played a significant role in changing the outcome Speedweek. Who gets bit by the bear at Lemoore this year?
Just one short week later season Championship mindsets return as Round 8 kicks off on July 6th. From that point forward it’s the home stretch. We’re back on the track for race 9 on August 10. Just two-weeks later Race 10 comes rolling through on August 24th.
The Track Championship series then shifts deeper into the fall with the final three points races of the season. On September 7th race 11 takes to the track followed by the penultimate championship race, Race 12, on September 28.

Comes to a close with the Budweiser Grand Prix. Pushed back further into the month of October much like 2017, will the temperatures play a factor?
New for 2019 Lemoore Raceway signature exhibition race, the California Cup, has moved into the month of November. For the first time the Cal Cup will run the second weekend of November.
Be ready, the next edition of the Cal Cup kicks off on Friday, November 8th, 2019, and concludes Saturday November 9th.
