Prodigy Army Presents – Logan Trevino #PRParmy

Prodigy Race Promotions on Sprint Car Insider – MADERA, Calif. (May 13, 2019) – Prodigy Race Promotions is proud to welcome one of the fastest young shoes in the Central California Micro Sprint scene to the PRParmy – Logan Trevino.

Coming to you by way of Madera, California, Logan has his sights set on capturing the 2019 Delta Speedway And Plaza Park Raceway Restricted 600 class titles. With a win at each track to his credit already, he surely a player in the game.

Racing is nothing new for Logan. At the age of four his dad thought it would be fun to go race a quarter Midget. From that point forward the rest was, as they say; – History.

He’s had the bug in him ever since. If it has a steering wheel and a motor, he’ll race it. Now in his third season in the Restricted class he came into 2019 on the heels of a breakout season.

All year long last year he was a contender. No matter if the race was in Lemoore, on the hallowed grounds of Plaza Park or next to the port at Delta, he was a contender. But it was Delta Speedway that struck a cord with him most. From his first laps around the smooth 1/5 mile oval at the San Jauquin County Fairgrounds, he was in heaven.

It’s always easy to remember your first. With that in mind perhaps Delta Speedway will always be Logan Trevino’s favorite track.

“It’s just a fun place to race,” he said. “Its tight, it’s technical, and it’s just racy all over, I look forward to every race up there… And we’ll, yeah, I did get my first Restricted win there too.”

At one point through the summer of 2018 his results at Delta kept creeping further toward the front. On one night he lead darn near the whole way before relenting the lead late in the going. But each race was a step closer to that coveted victory.

Finally on a late fall evening he put 7t out in front of the field and never looked back. He did it. He grabbed that illustrious first victory, on his favorite track none the less.

“We finally got it done with a great car prepared by my unbelievable crew,” he said. “It took everything – the team, the car, and a lotabit of luck.”

Since that day Logan Trevino has been a whole new driver with a brand new sense of confidence. He came storming into the 2019 season with nothing less than title aspirations. So far through 2019 he has made the statement to everyone out there that his expectations are far from lofty. He wants to be crowned champion and he’s on a mission to do so.

Through 11 races to this point in 2019 he has two wins to his credit, one at Plaza and one at Delta. He finds himself locked in the middle of the title fight at both tracks, and even has a stock class podium to boast as well. He has shown his hunger to win, desire to dig deep, and constant ability to everyone so far this season.

Now, Logan Trevino is officially apart of the #PRParmy as his drive and desire align perfectly with the outlook of Prodigy. This IS the Prodigy generation, and Logan Trevino is one of them.
