Much anticipated Champions Classic coming to the Stockton Dirt Track on August 23rd and 24th

Stockton, CA – July 17, 2019…One of the biggest two-night shows of the season at the Stockton Dirt Track will take place on August 23rd and 24th when the King of the West-NARC Fujitsu 410 Sprint Car Series sanctioned “Champions Classic” invades the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds. Opening night will hand out $5,000 to the winner, while Saturday’s finale dishes out a cool $10,000-to-win.

The Champions Classic presented by Katerra/ Sunny Valley Meats and Chase Chevrolet will feature NASCAR star and Northern California favorite Kyle Larson in action both nights, as he takes on the top Winged 410 Sprint Car drivers the Golden State has to offer. The double header weekend will honor 60-years of King of the West-NARC Sprint Car history and features plenty of camping available for race fans to enjoy the festivities.

Those who purchase advanced online tickets for the Friday portion of the weekend will have a chance to win a VIP lunch/ meet and greet with Larson. A total of thirty lucky fans will be drawn for the catered luncheon that will take place on Friday inside a hospitality tent set up just inside the pit area. The winners will also receive VIP pit passes.

Along with the King of the West-NARC Fujitsu 410 Sprint Car Series the Joe Hunt Magnetos Wingless Sprints will also be on hand each night. For KWS-NARC it will be a culmination of “Mini Speedweek” that starts in Placerville Wednesday, heads to Chico Thursday and finishes in Stockton on Friday and Saturday.

Camping reservations can be made for the Champions Classic by contacting 916-370-9417. The price is $66 for the weekend and includes one parking pass per space reserved. Campers are reminded to bring extension cords, water hoses, water hose Y’s, and in-ground water spigots.

Following Friday night’s action race teams and campers are invited to come hang out for a chili cook off outside of the grandstands under the trees on the grass. Bring your ice chests and come have a great time with your closest racing friends. The chili and bread will be free of charge for teams and those camping.

Saturday morning in the same area from 8am-11am there will be a Pancake Breakfast featuring scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, country potatoes, coffee and juice for $10 per person. A live band will then entertain the crowd behind the stands starting at 3pm on Saturday.

Upper deck reserved seats for the Champions Classic will cost $25 on Friday night and $30 on Saturday, while general admission bleacher tickets cost $20 Friday and $25 on Saturday. Kids 10 and under are free in the general admission lower bleachers. Six and eight seat boxes are also available to reserve each night. The front gate will open at 4pm both days with opening ceremonies around 7pm. Will call and the ticket sales window will open at 3pm. As a heads up for fans the elevator to assist those who are handicapped get into the upper deck is now fixed and in operation.
