Restricted Debut on Tap for Lovenburg

Prodigy Race Promotions on Sprint Car Insider. Driver Exclusive – VISALIA, Calif. (November 6, 2019) – >Cash Lovenburg is set to make his Restricted 600 Micro Sprint debut at the California Cup this weekend at Lemoore Raceway.

After a prolific three year journey through the Jr Sprint division, complete with a Clay Cup National Championship, Keller Auto Raceway Track Championship, and upwards of 15 career wins, Lovenburg is ready to make the jump.

“He’s been itchin to get behind the wheel of a 600 for a while now,” Brandon Lovenburg said. “He’s been looking forward to this jump, it’s the right time, and he’s ready to give it a shot.”

Lovenburg will be behind the wheel of a familiar number 21, Pace Chassis, that has logged many wins on the famed 1/5 mile in Lemoore.

Lovenburg will enter as a class rookie, but recent rookie transitions from former Jr Sprint competitors gives Cash confidence. However, he is sure to be put to the ultimate test. This weekend the traveling competition is coming in droves in search of earning the elevated purse. The Restricted Champion is touted to earn $1200.

The California Cup kicks off with a practice session Thursday night to get his feet wet. Racing action follows on Friday and Saturday Night. Lovenburg might be making the most monumental jump of his career to date this weekend, but his Jr Sprint Career is quite over yet. His current number one focus remains the same.

Lovenburg Racing will be making their maiden voyage on the annual pilgrimage to the biggest micro sprint race on earth – The Tulsa Shootout.

Cash hopes to send off his Jr Sprint career hoisting a Golden Driller proud at the end of the week inside of the River Spirit Expo Center come January.

The 2019 California Cup at Lemoore Raceway will be a historical weekend for Lovenburg racing. The team officially joins the ranks of 600 racing at one of the biggest events of the season.

If Cash can finish the weekend safe, and confident moving forward, this weekend will be considered a success according to the team. Being a champion however, there is no determining the expectations he has within himself. Time will tell this weekend.
